Individual life insurance, group benefits, group retirement, wealth management, and affinity and group markets. Built the rate and dividend change framework still in use today. Led teams of 5 to 20 across high-stakes programs.
Built the BA Centre of Excellence, delivered the FINTRAC-compliant electronic insurance application, and led three digital platform transformations. The electronic application platform is still in production.
Led master data management governance across merged Canada Life, Great-West Life, and London Life entities. Applied AI to the QA pipeline with confirmed 50% effort reduction. The framework is running through its fiftieth sprint.
Since 2019, Jey has been a Professor of Business and Data Analytics at Conestoga College in Kitchener, Ontario. He teaches students entering financial services, technology, and consulting, applying the same practical frameworks he used in production delivery.
He is also the host of Data Doctor Studios, a podcast on data analytics, digital transformation, and careers in Canada's technology and consulting landscape.
